K9 KIDS KLUB
The K9 Kids Klub is aimed at younger
dog lovers from ages 3 to 14. It is hoped that it will not only help support all the unwanted dogs in our
care but also provide vital information about responsible dog ownership and welfare, after all, you are the dog owners of
the future. By donating just £2 per month, that’s just 50p a week in pocket money
terms, you will become a member of a really worthwhile club. Every quarter you will receive a copy
of our “Little Paws” newsletter filled with puzzles, competitions, stories from the dogs and also important information
about the care of dogs, such as:-
Exercise
Feeding
Relaxation
We’ll
also provide information about training your dog and how to keep your dog under control in public areas. All
this will prepare you for dog ownership in the future.Whilst giving tips on looking after your dog you will be helping to support unwanted dogs in our care that have for
one reason or another, found themselves in rescue and looking for another loving home. Your £2 per month will help us to giveeach
dog a warm bed each night, twogood meals a day
and provide them withexercise and treats. You will also be helping
to keep the dogsin tip-top condition by providing
regularvaccinations and any veterinary care they may need until we can find them another home. You will also be making sure that any dogthat comes into rescue with a behaviour problem will receive the help that’s needed from a behaviourist in order to give them every chance of finding a newhome. Whatever
the reason, your support will help the many dogs who suddenly find themselves in rescue through no fault of their own.
Maybe you have a dog yourself and would like to help one less fortunate or maybe you would love to own a dog but for
whatever reason you can’t, then this is the club for you. You could help us and the dogs by joining our K9 Kids Klub.
By paying just £2 per month you will become a member of this very worthwhile and satisfying cause.
In return you will receive a copy of our “Little Paws” newsletter every quarter,
full of stories, puzzles, tips on responsible dog ownership and competitions. Each issue you’ll receive
a photograph and letter from one of the unwanted dogs in our care so you will get to know them really well, and they’re
something for you to collect and keep.
Please make sure you have permission
from a parent or guardian before joining the club.
